International Accreditation Organization (IAO) is an international agency working to enhance the standards of education for working adults. It operates worldwide, granting educational accreditation upon evaluation to institutions involved in education for working adults.
In pursuit of its mission to promote the finest global educational standard for working adults, IAO has also created regional chapters worldwide. The professional network of members and office bearers of these chapters works as a think tank and provide suggestions and recommendations to improve the quality of education of educational institutes.
The main objective of IAO is to increase the standards in education for working adults. To this end, it evaluates and accredits educational institutes for working adults based on its patented evaluation process. After its independent analysis, the IAO allocates a unique points profile© to each institution depending on how close a match it is to the globally accepted standards for working adults. Upon final accreditation the IAO also suggests improvements specifically targeted to working adult education.

IAO Chapters
To accomplish its mission of standardizing and promoting working adults' education worldwide, IAO has created chapters in different countries. All these regional chapters have native members who are related to the field of education in one way or the other and work to achieve IAO's mission in their respective chapters. GESFWA
IAO was formed under the banner of Global Education Support Forum for Working Adults GESFWA. GESFWA is a global non-profit organization that works towards its mission to support, promote and improve education for working adults. Through the facilitation of GESFWA, working adults around the world are able to receive better education while continuing their jobs, thus realizing their full potential. GESFWA has regional and national chapters by its accreditation body IAO, with native members who are related to the field of education such as faculty members, administrators, members of regional government accreditation bodies, ministry of education officials working for the betterment of education for working adults.

IEAC Membership
IAO is proud to be a member of IEAC, the International Education Accreditation Commission. Devoted to the establishment, maintenance and improvement of standards of accreditation agencies, both distance and online, the IEAC is a private, non-profit organization that co-ordinates accreditation activities across the globe. The IEAC scrutinizes the operations of the accrediting agencies, with a view to determining, ranking and enhancing the quality of work done by them as well as suggesting methods for improvement

Our accreditation site-visits and evaluation is done in conjunction with IAO's world-wide chapters and members. In a given regional chapter certain carefully selected top-tier individual members are nominated as IAO evaluators. They then have the responsibility to assess their local and regional institutions for accreditation purposes. As per our mission, all of our evaluators understand their role and take a strong part in upholding global working adult education standards and the prestige that goes with an IAO accreditation. |
