About B.H.  College

The B.H. College was established in the year 1966 initially only with the faculty of Arts. In the following years different faculties such as the faculty of science and commerce were also formed. This allowed the institute to transform into a fully fledged three faculty institution in the vicinity of Lower Assam. The B.H. College is affiliated to the Gauhati University. It is also recognized by the UGC and has received the accreditation with the grade “B++” by the NAAC. Creating a vast state of the art academics infrastructure, putting together best of teaching talents and equipping the students with each and every required learning aids is the goal of the college so it can ensure that the students at B.H. College gets the best in academics. The B.H. College aims to bring about positive and a healthy change and progress through education. The college provides its students with a vast variety of degree programs in the fields of Arts, Science and Commerce with a very challenging and comprehensive curriculum.
