About Alagappa College  of Technology

Alagappa University was established in 1985 by the Govt of Tamil Nadu with the aim of promoting education, research and development in India. The University is recognized by the UGC and has been accredited by the NAAC with ‘A' Grade. The University is a member of AIU and ACU; it also has good relations with different research laboratories, educational institutions and industrial organizations. Alagappa University has twenty eight affiliated colleges in Sivaganga and Ramanathapuram which operates as a part of the University. It also has eighteen departments, five centers, and two constituent Colleges on its campus which is located at Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu. Alagappa University has international partnership with different universities and institutes in West Indies, South Korea, Malaysia, China and the United States of America. There are many international students currently studying at the university from different countries. The University has especially designed new programs for the foreign students. It also has different exchange programs which attracts the students as well as the teachers from abroad.
